Moyglare Nursing Home is a ground level purpose built home offering predominantly single rooms with some semi private. Total number of residents is 56. Single en-suite 19, single rooms 17, semi private 10 (2 with en-suite). All bedrooms are fitted with nurse call facilities, direct dial phones, T.V. points, wash-hand basins, vanity units and are wheelchair friendly.
The bedrooms are bright and cheerful and tastefully decortated. An oratory is provided. Hand rails are positioned in the corridors for walking and excerising.
The Nursing Home is surrounded by beautiful gardens which includes a water fountain, large enclosed courtyard and ample car parking is provided for visitors. CCTV cameras and security doors are installed throughout the premises.
All meals are home cooked in a well equipped kitchen with a choice of menu available each day. Food is prepared by a qualified cook from fresh local produce and special diets can be catered for.
Meals can be served either in the dining room or in the residents own room if preferred.
Interval snacks and drinks are served throughout the day and supper is served in the evenings.
Daily newspapers can be purchased and staff are always available to shop for residents.

We want our residents to receive the helpful and friendly assistance that we believe they deserve. This standard of care is provided best by staff who feel involved in the Nursing Home.
Our reputation for nursing care is achieved by the co-operation and flexibility of all members of staff irrespective of category. To this end it is necessary for every member of staff to give help wherever it is needed in the home at any particular time. We expect our staff to work on their own initiative.
